Shirley Lee Peach Robinson, 65 of Yeddo died unexpectedly at 3:00 a. m. Friday June 22, 2012 at home. She was born September 23, 1946 at Danville, IL the daughter of Elmer William and Betty Jo (Corey) Sanders.
Shirley was a life resident of the Yeddo area, attended Centennial Church and Kingman Schools. She enjoyed raising flowers and watching humming birds. She was a beautician 49 years having her own shop. She also had been employed at General Electric, Steel Grip and Walmart Optical Lab.
Shirley married Robert L. Robinson July 25, 1963 at Waterman Baptist Church, Lodi. Surviving is her husband, a daughter, Charlotte Ann Robinson of Indianapolis, a son Robert Dale (Cindy) Robinson of Kingman; 2 grandchildren, Shae Bailey Robinson of Veedersburg, Garrett Michael Robinson, Kingman; 2 sisters, Emma (Junior) Plunkett and Helen (George) Plunkett, both of Kingman; 3 brothers, Charles Lee (Mary) Sanders and Joseph Earl (Brenda) Sanders both of Hillsboro, James Wayne (Wanda) Sanders of Kingman; 2 step brothers Edward (Mary) Nelson of Mulberry, Ronald Nelson of Odessa, TX; a step sister Nancy (Bill) Vollmer of Lafayette. Her parents and 2 brothers preceded her in death.
Funeral services are scheduled for 11:00 a. m. Monday June 25, 2012 at Shelby Funeral Home with Randy Paddock officiating. Burial will follow in Centennial Cemetery. Visitation will be 4:00 to 7:00 p. m. Sunday at the funeral home. Condolences to the family: www.shelbyfuneralhome.com
