Veedersburg Sharon Ann Manning, 68 of Veedersburg died at 9:04 a. m. Tuesday September 4, 2012 at St. Elizabeth Hospital East, Lafayette following an extended illness.
She was born June 19, 1944 in Covington the daughter of Luther Charles and Esther (Neal) Brewer.
She was a 1962 graduate of Covington High School and a life resident of Covington and Veedersburg. Sharon was office manager at West Central Veterinary Service for 25 years, and a member of a bowling league at Sycamore Lanes.
Sharon married Dennis Manning July 1, 1991 at Louisville, KY and he survives. Also surviving is a daughter Vikki Johnson of Louisville, KY; stepson Jason (Paige) Manning of Lafayette; 7 grandchildren; a sister-in-law Amber Brewer of Jacksonville, FL; 2 brother-in-laws, Bounce Manning and Ron (Nancy) Manning, both of Veedersburg; 4 nephews and a niece. Her parents, a son David Brown and a brother Jerry Brewer preceded her in death.

A memorial gathering will be held Saturday September 15, 2012 from 3:00 to 5:00 p. m. at Shelby Funeral Home for Sharon Manning.
