Russell R. Can Man Williams, 78, of Covington died at 7:50 A. M. Wednesday April 13, 2016 at Presence USMC, Danville. He was born March 30, 1938 in Covington the son of John F. and Flossie (Pritchard) Williams.
Russell was a life resident of Covington and affectionately known as the Can Man as he rode his three wheeler around town collection aluminum cans. He was employed at the former Bowen Coal Company for many years delivering coal.
Surviving are a sister Beverly Frazee, a brother Billy Joe Williams, both of Crawfordsville, and several cousins, nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents, sister Dorothy Leath, three special friends, Robert Harden, Jake Brooks, and Robert Huxford.
