Morris G Martin

Morris G. Martin, 93, was called home to the Lord in Covington, Indiana Fountain Springs assisted living facility on December 8, 2023. Morris was born in Vermillion County Indiana May 26th, 1930 to Orville and Juel (Crigger) Martin. Morris was married to Gladys (Trott) Martin where they farmed for many years in Fountain County until he retired 31 years ago at age 62. Morris and Gladys traveled many years in Florida and finally settling at Trailer Estates in Bradenton, Florida since 1988 before recently moving back Covington, residing at Fountain Springs Assisted Living where he was very nicely cared for until his passing.
Morris was preceded in death by his wife and parents, brother, Arkie Martin, sister, Norma Gremore and grandson, Todd Martin.
His survivors include: sons, Sam and Dan Martin, five grandchildren, twelve great- grandchildren, one great-great-grandchild and several nieces and nephews.
Graveside service will be held April 26, 2024 at 11:00 am (EST) at Mt. Hope Cemetery, Covington, IN with Pastor Rob Robbins officiating.
