Lorraine Gerard, 85 of Madison, TN died at 4:25 p. m. Monday August 12, 2013 at Elmcroft Alzheimer Care in Hendersonville, TN. She was born June 27, 1928 at Perrysville the daughter of Archie Lawrence and Mary Violet (Jones) Allen.
She was a 1945 graduate of Covington High School. She was very active in the Covington PTA and Pan Arts Club in her early years. She enjoyed her family and square dancing. She was a realtor for many years in Covington. They moved from Covington to Madison, TN in 1996.
Lorraine married Jack Kenneth Gerard May 22, 1947 at Covington Baptist Church and he died March 7, 2012. Surviving is a daughter, Cynthia Cindy (Phillip) Stauder of Madison, TN; a sister, Betty Smith of Covington; two grandchildren, Matthew (Heather) Stauder of Madison, TN, and Melissa (Andrew) Coomer of Hendersonville, TN; and five great grandchildren. Her parents and a brother, Jack Allen preceded her in death.
