Joshua Lee Newkirk, 20, of Covington died Sunday July 19, 2020 in an automobile accident. He was born April 28, 2000 at Crawfordsville, IN the son of Terry Newkirk and Tammy (Haxton) Bugle.
Josh graduated from Covington High School in 2018. He had been employed at Abernathy Home Improvement.
Surviving are his parents Terry Newkirk and Tammy (David) Bugle, both of Covington; a sister Kim Drollinger, Covington, two brothers, J. P. Newkirk, Knoxville, TN, and Jacob Bugle, Covington. Also surviving are his grandmother Ruth Newkirk and grandfather Avery Haxton; nieces and nephews, Katie, Karlee, Mason, and Jayna. He was preceded in death by his grandfather Harold Newkirk and grandmother Betty Eads.
Funeral services 11:00 A. M. EDT Wednesday July 22, 2020 at Shelby Funeral Home with Pastor Robert Fairchild officiating. Burial in Mount Hope Cemetery. Visitation 4:00 to 7:00 P. M.
