Kingman James Stewart Robinson, 80 of Kingman died at 10:48 p. m. Friday September 7, 2012 at Williamsport Nursing & Rehabilitation Center. He was born July 15, 1932 at Perrysville the son of the late James Elberson and Clara Lucille (Ramsey) Robinson.
He was a 1950 graduate of Perrysville High School and resident of Perrysville many years before moving to rural Kingman. Jim was a Navy veteran of the Korean War. He was a member Cayuga American Legion Post #263 and VFW Post #2395, where he served three terms as Commander; and Flying Shingles Boat Racing Club. He enjoyed NASCAR and his dog Big Boy.
Jim married Karen Hale and later married Sharen Clark in 1982. They survive. Also surviving is a daughter Kerri Kyle of Rossville, IL, a son Mark Robinson of Camby, IN; 2 grandchildren, Dallas Nicole Robinson and Mason Stuart Robinson, both of Danville, IL.
Graveside services are scheduled for 2:00 p. m. Monday September 10, 2012 at Coal Creek Cemetery with military honors by the American Legion and the VFW. There will be no visitation. Condolences to the family: www.shelbyfuneralhome.com.
