James Lowery Brasker, Jr.

James Lowery Brasker, Jr. 67 of Perrysville, IN died at 1:40 a. m. Monday October 24, 2011 at Carle Foundation Hospital in Urbana.
He was born January 24, 1944 in Astoria, OR the son of James L. and Ruby Roberts, Brasker, Sr.
Jim married Judith Schroeder on September 14, 1958 in Palos Park, IL, she survives. Also surviving are a son Brian Brasker, a daughter, Kelly Hamilton; and a granddaughter, Hailey Hamilton, all of Perrysville; several cousins; and a special golfing buddy, Ted Simerl. He was preceded in death by his parents and a brother, Ronald.
He was a graduate of Covington High School, Indiana State University, and University of Iowa. He was a social worker at VA Illiana Health Care System for 32 years, retiring in 2001. Jim enjoyed golfing and was devoted to his family and especially his granddaughter.
