Fern Delores Cline

Fern Delores Cline, 96 of Covington died at 10:59 P. M. Wednesday June 3, 2020 at Carle Foundation Hospital. She was born July 7, 1923 at Danville, IL the daughter of Walter John and Frieda (Sy) Stuebe.

Fern attended Trinity Lutheran School and graduated from Danville High School in 1941. She moved to Covington in 1959 from Danville, IL. She was employed at Danville VA Hospital over 20 years and was a Realtor in Covington for many years

Her memberships included, Covington United Methodist Church, past president of Psi Iota Xi, past president of BPW, Indiana and Illinois Board of Realtors.

Fern married Verl N. Cline November 23, 1943 at Danville, IL. He died September 16, 2013. Surviving are two daughters, Jane E. Parker of Safety Harbor, FL, and Judy A. Cline of Covington; two sisters, Virginia Stuebe of Catlin, Il, and Wini Divan of Irving, TX; two nieces, a nephew, four great nieces and two great nephews. Her parents, husband, son James, daughter-in-law Joan, and sister Maxine Reich preceded her in death.

Funeral services 2:00 P. M. Monday June 8, 2020 at Shelby Funeral Home, Covington with Rev. Mason Shambach officiating. Burial will follow in Mount Hope Cemetery. Visitation 12:00 P. M. until the time of services at 2:00 P. M. Monday.
