Elneda June Niccum

Elneda June Niccum, 83, of Covington died at 9:04 A. M. Friday December 7, 2018 at OSF Sacred Heart Medical Center, Danville. She was born June 12, 1935 at West  Lebanon, IN the daughter of John Thomas and Eva Agnes (Williams) Ping.

June married Donald Leroy Niccum June 27, 1958 at Coal Branch Church. He died February 4, 2009.  She was a homemaker and resided in Gessie from 1958 until moving to Covington in 2009.

Surviving is a daughter Donna (Joe) Stambaugh of Perrysville; a son Tim (Diana) Niccum of Covington; six siblings, Fay Huppert of Danville, VA; Jean Bell of Danville, IL; Jeannette Haskins of Savoy, Il; Eldora Allen of Taylor, MI; Thomas (Jane) Ping of Navarre, OH; and Kay Chase of Medina, OH; seven Grandchildren, and eighteen great grandchildren. Her parents, husband, son Terry, two sisters and two brothers, and a great granddaughter preceded her in death.

Funeral services 1:00 P. M. EDT Monday December 10, 2018 at Shelby Funeral Home, Covington with Pastor Ramona Trover and Pastor Keith Jones officiating.
