Edward Joseph Wiesemann, 69 of Covington died unexpectedly at 8:00 a. m. Thursday February 7, 2013 at home. He was born March 28, 1943 at Danville, IL the son of the late Lawrence and Helen (Sedlak) Wiesemann.
Ed graduated from Westville High School in 1961 and University of Illinois. He was employed at Ryder Trucking for 14 years and recently at Mervis. He was a member of St. Joseph Catholic Church, a lifetime member of University of Illinois Alumni Association and Book Discussion Group at Covington Public Library. Eds hobbies were music, specially collecting vinyl records and stereo equipment, sports, reading, woodworking, walking and exercising.
Surviving are two sons, Michael (Jennifer) Wiesemann of Brookville, IN; Andrew (Jamie) Wiesemann of Ft. Campbell, KY; a sister Lorna (Ken) Konsis of Westville, IL; a brother Lloyd Wiesemann of Bloomington, IL; and 5 grandchildren.
Visitation will be 4:00 to 7:00 p. m. Wednesday February 13, 2013 at Shelby Funeral Home with Rosary at 3:45 p. m. Funeral Mass at 10:00 a. m. Thursday February 14, 2013 at St. Joseph Catholic Church with Father David Rasner officiating. Burial will be in St. Peter and Paul Cemetery, Westville.
