Dennis "Denny" Earl Strawser

Dennis Earl Denny Strawser, 64 of rural Veedersburg died at 6:11 P. M. Saturday November 21, 2015 at St. Vincent Hospital, Indianapolis.
He was born March 14, 1951 at Danville, IL the son of Robert E. and Dorothy (Dennis) Strawser.
Denny was a 1970 graduate of Covington High School and a life resident of Veedersburg. He had been employed by Coffing Bros. Orchard for forty-two years. He also helped his dad with their sweet corn farm. Denny enjoyed his family, sports and especially football. He carried the chain at Covington High School football games for many years.
He is survived by his mother Dorothy Strawser of Veedersburg, two sisters, Kathy (Bob) Wilson of Terre Haute, and Suzy (Greg Green) Strawser of Covington; two nieces, Tina Wilson and Stacy (Adam) Griner; two great nephews, Ben (Hailey) Griner and Joe Griner; two great nieces, Mariah Griner and Hope Griner; many aunts, uncles and cousins. His father preceded him in death November 17, 2015.
Visitation will be 11:00 A. M. EST Saturday November 28, 2015 at Benson Chapel United Methodist Church until time of services at 1:00 P. M. EST. Rev. Brenda Burnworth and Pastor Keith Klossner will officiate. Burial will follow in Lower Mound Cemetery.
