Clyde Vernon Hopper, 49 of Covington died at 5:05 a. m. Wednesday May 22, 2013 at Kindred Hospital, Indianapolis, where he was a patient two months.
He was born July 11, 1963 at Danville, IL the son of Vernon Edward and June Evelyn (Redenbaugh) Hopper.
Clyde is survived by his parents, a brother, James W. Breeden, Jr., all of Covington; a sister Christy Lynn (Michael) Cruse of Bloomingdale; a special friend Kelly White; several aunts, uncles, nieces & nephews, great nieces & great nephews. A sister Jamie Morris, a brother Martin Hopper, Uncle Dean Redenbaugh, and his grandparents preceded him in death.
His memberships included: First Church of God and its Sonshine Class. He enjoyed being with his family and music, especially Cruse Brothers, Highway 341 Band and his dad playing for him. He appreciated going to Church Camp, Indiana Beach, and hayrides.
He enjoyed his caregivers and all they did for him, John Sprinkle, Geoff Miley, Shannon Miley, and Sarah Wilson.
Visitation will be Noon until time of services at 2:00 p. m. Friday May 24, 2013 at Shelby Funeral Home. Pastor Robert Fairchild will officiate and burial will follow in Mount Hope Cemetery.
