Ed was also the proud grandpa of one granddaughter, Carissa (Fred) Booe, eight grandsons: Jonathan, Matthew and Andre Myers and Isaac, Brooks, Clark, Henry and Hudson Murray as well as two step granddaughters Alex and Melissa Usma and great grandson Bentley Booe and one step great grandson Jasiah. Ed deeply loved his family and was so loved by all. He was the rock of the family and love and laughter were the key ingredients of his home. Ed is also survived by his sister, Jackie (John) Bean of Ottawa, Illinois and one nephew and two nieces.
Ed served his country in the United States Army Reserve for six years. He worked as a boiler plant operator at Olin Mathieson and the Veterans Administration Medical Center.
Anyone who knew Ed had no doubts of his legacy of faith of trust in the One True God and his Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. He was a man of prayer and served faithfully as a member of the Calvary Baptist Church of Danville, Illinois. Ed was a reliable, faithful, loving husband, dad, grandpa, brother, uncle, friend and neighbor. He will be greatly missed by all.
