Artith June Barker

Artith June Barker, 85, of Covington died at 5:05 P. M. Thursday March 19, 2020 at Williamsport Nursing & Rehabilitation. She was born October 21, 1934 south of Covington the daughter of Clyde and Idalene (Bailey) Pritchard.

She was a life resident of the Covington area, a 1952 graduate of Perrysville High School and Brown Business College. She had been employed at GE, Hurletron and many years at Teepak before retiring. She was a Christian Scientist.

Artith married Max Beckelhymer and they later divorced. She later married Alan J. Barker. They both are deceased.

Surviving is a daughter Julie Beckelhymer of Woodland Park, CO, two sons, Matt (Mona) Beckelhymer of Trinidad, CO, and Jody (Mary Jo) Beckelhymer of Covington, IN; two step children, David (Jennifer) Barker, and Lisa Barker, both of Louisville, KY; a sister Mary Ann (Rick) Howell of Tilton, IL, and a brother William Pritchard of Danville, IL; twelve grandchildren, and nine great grandchildren. Her parents and stepdaughter Lori Barker also preceded her in death.
