Alice May Pundt, 89 of Veedersburg died at 6:30 a. m. Wednesday December 18, 2013 at home. She was born March 24, 1924 at Linton, IN the daughter of William Franklin and Clara (Huffman) Sasseen.
She moved to Veedersburg 39 years ago from Alvin, IL. Alice was a homemaker and enjoyed: quilting, puzzles, collecting dolls, woodcraft and watching the Cubs.
Alice married Edward C. Pundt January 14, 1942 and he died June 19, 1999. Surviving are seven children, Robert (Clara) Harvey and Edward (Kay) Pundt, both of Danville, IL; John Pundt of Georgetown, IL; Joyce (Andrew) Karushis and David (Carol) Pundt, both of Veedersburg; Ronald (Teresa) Pundt of Danville, IL; Greg Pundt (Carolyn Ross) of Gifford, IL; many grandchildren, several great grandchildren, and numerous great-great grandchildren. Her parents, husband, son Charles Pundt, many brothers and sisters, 2 granddaughters and a great-great granddaughter preceded her in death.
Visitation will be 4:00 to 7:00 p. m. (EDT) Friday at Shelby Funeral Home, Covington. Funeral services will be at Shelby Funeral Home Saturday December 21, 2013 at 1:00 p. m.
